About Us

Team collaborating in a modern office representing mission and strategy

Mission

We exist to make circular metals trade reliable, transparent, and simple across Asia–Gulf corridors. Our mission is to deliver consistently graded feedstock with documentation that stands up to audits and investor scrutiny. We prioritize long-term partnerships over one-off transactions, aligning pricing, quality, and logistics to each partner’s requirements. Compliance is built into every step—from sourcing and sorting to packing, shipping, and post-delivery review. Sustainability is practical for us: reduce waste, maximize recovery, and share data that helps buyers run cleaner furnaces and smelters. We measure success not only in tonnes shipped, but also in trust earned and disputes avoided.

Business analytics dashboard showing KPIs and performance charts

KPIs

We track a focused set of KPIs to keep performance visible and improvable. Lead quality and conversion are measured end-to-end—from enquiry to quote to closed deal—so commercial effort stays efficient. Operationally, we monitor on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery, quote turnaround time, documentation completeness at first submission, and claims/returns rate. Quality is quantified using inspection scores and assay variance against agreed specs, with corrective actions logged and reviewed. On the financial side, we watch days sales outstanding (DSO) and settlement accuracy, keeping working capital predictable for all parties. We also publish ESG indicators relevant to our footprint, such as waste diverted, energy intensity per tonne moved, and incident-free days.

Formal meeting with documents symbolising governance and compliance

Governance

Governance at CR Material Research & Resources is structured, written, and enforced. We operate under a formal code of conduct covering anti-bribery, sanctions, know-your-customer (KYC), and conflict-of-interest requirements. Commercial decisions are segregated from quality and compliance functions, and material deviations require documented approvals. Third-party audits, policy reviews, and supplier re-qualification cycles keep our controls current with evolving regulations. Data protection is handled with least-privilege access, encrypted storage, and clear retention schedules for operational and investor records. We maintain a confidential reporting channel and non-retaliation policy so issues surface early and can be resolved transparently.

Accepted Materials

We accept a focused range of feedstock chosen for reliability, safety, and cross-border compliance. Ferrous streams include HMS 1/2 and shredded grades suitable for mill intake with predictable density and size. Non-ferrous coverage spans copper, aluminium, and brass families with clearly defined contaminants and moisture limits. Stainless and alloy materials center on 304/316 and selected nickel-bearing grades where documentation can support downstream requirements. E-scrap and batteries are considered only where local regulations and handling standards can be met without exceptions. Every accepted lot is pre-agreed in writing with photographs or prior assays to reduce uncertainty at inspection.

Specifications & Grades

We trade to explicit specifications that align with ISRI codes or mutually agreed equivalents. Each grade is described by a minimum/maximum range for composition, size, and allowable attachments so expectations are unambiguous. Packaging and unitization are stated up front—bales, bundles, or loose—with target density and containerization notes. Minimum order quantities differ by stream, but are set to balance logistics efficiency and buyer furnace requirements. Assay protocols are documented and, when required, split samples are retained to support objective claim resolution. Final purchase orders include the definitive spec sheet and take precedence over any prior informal descriptions.

Process & Compliance

Our process is standardized: source → sort → test → pack → ship, with controls at every step. Sorting is supported by visual grading, magnetics, and spot testing to ensure consistency before unitization. Compliance starts at onboarding with KYC and sanctions screening, and continues through shipment with export permits, MSDS where applicable, and chain-of-custody records. Health, safety, and environmental practices are aligned to ISO 9001/14001/45001 and are periodically reviewed with third-party audits. Photo evidence and documentation are archived so buyers and investors can verify process integrity. Any non-conformance triggers a corrective action plan with owners and due dates.

Logistics & Trade Lanes

We serve the main Asia–Gulf trade lanes with Incoterms EXW, FOB, CFR, and CIF, matched to partner preferences. Ports commonly used include Shanghai, Yokohama, Busan, Nhava Sheva, and Jebel Ali, with alternatives available on request. Lead times and sailing schedules are shared in advance, and containers are booked with lines that support reliable documentation flows. Insurance, inspection, and fumigation (if required) are coordinated transparently so there are no surprises at destination. We provide complete documentation packets—commercial invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, certificates, and assays where applicable—ready for customs and finance review. Post-delivery, we support discharge checks and any claim assessment using the agreed evidence set.
